Retail Enterprise App
This app can help managers better monitor customer and employee activity for optimal customer service.
The Problem
Customer service is often a big differentiator in the retail market. It is important that customers have a pleasant experience with the brand in order to maintain their business and to set themselves apart in the marketplace. In particular, retailers struggle with employee coverage at the right times when customers need them, whether it’s when they are looking for an item or they are looking to check out.
The Solution
By adding beacons to carts, baskets, and employees, managers can track how their customers spend time in the store, how long they are in the store, whether or not the customer has been helped by an employee, if they need help finding an item, and when they will be trying to check out. This information can help managers better utilize their employee’s time, while also gathering information on customer activity in the store, such as popular areas for customers to stop and shop.
Through the map's "Store View," the manager can see where the employees and customers are located, as well as get an overview of how busy the store is, and the basic status of each customer. They can also receive alerts from the customers who require assistance, and request a nearby associate to help them.
The manager can isolate departments to get a closer view of the activity in the area.
Through the dashboard, the manager can see a list of all the customers in the store, their status, and also sort and filter them.
When viewing the "Employee" section, the manager can see how many customers the employee has assisted, what department they are in, whether or not they have a till counted out in order to act as a back-up cashier, as well as compare their data to other employees over time.
In the departments section, the manager can see how active each area is, and where the traffic is heaviest in the store. They can also compare this data to other days/weeks/months.
